History of the Hershey's chocolate brand 🍫

The Hershey's brand was founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1894 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States. Milton S. Hershey is often considered the pioneer of the American chocolate industry and is famous for creating the first American milk chocolate.

After much trial and error, Milton S. Hershey was able to perfect a milk chocolate recipe that would become the foundation of the Hershey's brand. In 1900, he opened the first Hershey's factory in Derry Church, Pennsylvania, where he began mass-producing his famous milk chocolate bars.
