What is a Mochi?

Originally from Japan, THE mochi is a traditional pastry made from sticky rice. The dough, obtained by a grinding and molding process, becomes elastic and soft. Traditionally, mochis are filled with red bean paste, but today, they are available in a multitude of flavors, including the delicious Mochi in milk.☀

The origin of Mochi Daïfuku!

THE mochi is part of the Japanese tradition. THE mochi is the name given to a pastry family. It can be found in different forms, such as iced, skewers, but the best known is the Mochi Daifuku which is enjoyed during the tea ceremony.
