The origin of mochi daïfuku!

Mochi is originally a traditional Japanese pastry that combines different types of mochi. It can be found in different forms, but the best known is the mochi daifuku which is enjoyed during the tea ceremony. The aim is to reduce the bitterness of the tea. It traditionally consists of a ball made from sticky rice filled with red bean paste.
